Accounts Payable

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Administer and execute Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable transactions through timely and accurate processing, matching, coding and updating into relevant systems in accordance with company policy and procedures in order to provide regular, up\-to\-date, and accurate information on status or deviations.Responsibilities:

• Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded and effective internal control are in place


• Carry out suppliers and bank reconciliations by analysing suppliers and bank statements in order to reconcile differences between suppliers and bank statements and our books of accounts.


• Handle all supplier payments for local and overseas vendors by preparing, checking, verifying, posting, and signing all payment vouchers to ensure compliance to payment agreed terms.


• Maintain customer receivables set and meet collection targets on a regular basis by monitoring or controlling payment behaviour by controlling credit limits and terms to ensure a healthy customer receivables portfolio.


• Assist and comply with all VAT regulations as per local requirements if required.


• Liaise and coordinate with both internal and external parties like banks and auditors to meet audit requirements and adhere to local rules and regulations.

• Background in Accounts is desirable but not essential


• Competent in IT such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook


• Computer literate to learn new systems and software


• Good communication


• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Part time option of 30 hours per week or Full Time
