As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and organised Accounts Assistant to support our finance and operational teams.
This is a varied office\-based role suited to somebody who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and administration within a fast\-paced business environment. The successful candidate will play an important part in supporting the day\-to\-day financial processes across multiple sites while helping maintain strong reporting and administrative standards.
Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential.
The Role
The Accounts Assistant will support the Finance Manager and wider management team with financial administration, reconciliations, reporting, and systems support across the group.

Key Responsibilities Finance \& Accounts
- Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate coding
- Assisting with purchase ledger and sales ledger administration
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
- Supporting weekly and monthly payroll administration
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and cashbook management
- Supporting credit control and monitoring outstanding balances
- Assisting with month\-end reporting processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
- Supporting expense processing and company card reconciliations
- Producing and updating spreadsheets and internal reports
- Assisting with data entry and analysis across multiple systems
- Supporting operational managers with reporting requests
- Maintaining organised records and compliance documentation
- Assisting with auditing and document preparation
- Supporting administration relating to utilities, maintenance, and compliance records
- Assisting with hospitality systems administration and user support
- Helping maintain accurate data across finance and operational systems
- Supporting the investigation of discrepancies, errors, or unusual reporting trends
- Liaising with site teams to ensure accurate reporting and procedures are followed
We are looking for somebody who is:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Professional and reliable with good communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Keen to learn and develop within a growing business
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or Administration role
- Sage accounting software experience is essential
- Hospitality, retail, or multi\-site business experience
- Experience working with EPOS, payroll, or reporting systems
