Accounts Assistant

Role Overview
The Accounts Assistant will work with our Senior Accounts person in processing sales / purchase invoices, allocation of cash, as well as credit control, and answering accounts related queries by either telephone or email.
Key Responsibilities
· To work closely with the Business Development Manager and accounts team in a busy office.
· To process accounts transactions on our bespoke case management system and the xero accounts package
· To assist clients in resolving invoice / payment queries in a timely and professional manner
· Ensure compliance with medico\-legal standards, internal policies, and data protection regulations..
· Identify and resolve accounts issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
· Support the implementation of new systems, processes, and business initiatives to enhance operational performance.
· Contribute to strategic planning and assist in achieving business growth objectives.
Skills \& Previous Experience
Previous work experience in an accounts environment
Confident on with the telephone either incoming or outgoing queries
Experience in a role for a company in the healthcare, legal, or insurance background would be advantageous
· Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, hands\-on approach to leadership.
· Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business operations.
· High attention to detail
· Proficiency in CRM systems, reporting tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to work as a team
