YOUR MISSION \& RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Controller to become an integral part of our daily operations at our Copenhagen HQ. If you want to apply your skills in an open, dynamic, and international setting where your daily efforts truly matter, this might be your next step.

This role is ideal for someone with some years of experience with hands\-on accounting, financial reconciliations, and general ledger management who thrives in a fast\-paced environment.

Responsibilities ahead of you

You will manage and oversee all facets of the general ledger function and financial bookkeeping for various entities. Your goal is to ensure an accurate, timely, and compliant monthly and annual close while acting as the global owner of VAT accounting.

• Financial Reporting \& Closing: Manage the general ledger, ensure accurate monthly and annual closes, and prepare precise financial records and reconciliations.


• VAT Ownership: Act as the global owner of VAT accounting, including return preparation, reporting, and collaborating with external tax advisors on cross\-border assessments.


• Audit \& Compliance: Support the audit process across multiple countries, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.


• Specialized Accounting: Accruals, provisions, revenue recognition, intercompany accounts, ensure correct inventory valuation, gift cards, deferred revenue, and more.


• Process Optimization: Constantly improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and system automations to increase efficiency. You will actively collaborate with team members on various financial projects and tasks.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar accounting position within a dynamic international company.


• Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT rules, and financial reporting.


• Skills: Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills with high attention to detail.


• Mentality: A "can\-do" attitude, comfortable with fast\-paced changes and tight deadlines.
