About the Role

Support finance function by preparing accurate and timely financial information, including monthly management accounts and consolidation schedules that feed into the Finance Manager's statutory audit review and sign\-off. Support cash planning and funding coordination with the treasury team, tax return preparation and compliance activities, and procurement processing, in support of OMD and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting \& Consolidation Support: Prepare the Jiuqi consolidation package and supporting schedules for the annual statutory audit, ensuring underlying accounting records are accurate, complete and properly reconciled, to support the Finance Manager's review and sign\-off of the audited financial statements.


• Management Accounting: Prepare monthly management accounts and respond to financial information requests from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistency with applicable accounting standards, to support the Finance Manager's oversight of financial reporting accuracy.


• Fund Monitoring: Collaborate with the treasury team to support cash planning and funding arrangements for the Company's UK entities, contributing to the maintenance of the monthly budget performance template.


• Compliance \& Tax Support: Share key tax deadlines with the finance team and prepare and review regular tax returns and payments for UK entities, ensuring compliance with Irish Revenue requirements. Support the Finance Manager in monitoring tax risks and coordinating with tax advisors as required.


• Procurement: Ensure procurement requests are processed in accordance with internal procedures and applicable approval requirements.


• Other Role\-related Responsibilities: Support ad hoc consolidation process improvements, tax compliance system updates, statutory audit preparation exercises and other finance\-related project assignments as required by the Finance Manager or CFO of Ireland, within the role's professional domain, job level and delegated authority. Contribute to data verification, documentation preparation and coordination activities for such assignments, ensuring timely response and effective delivery in relation to business changes, organizational arrangements, regulatory updates or project needs.

• Required Education / Professional Background: No specific preference; a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is an advantage.


• Work Experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience with commercial exposure.


• Mandatory Certification / Authorization: NA


• Language Requirements: Professional working proficiency in English required.


• Preferred Industry / Market Experience: Experience in the energy sector preferred.


• Certifications / Systems / Tools / Methodologies: ACA, ACCA or equivalent.


• Additional Language / Cross\-cultural Collaboration Experience: No specific preference.


• Other role\-relevant preferred qualifications: Experience preparing consolidation schedules and supporting statutory audit processes preferred.
