We are seeking a kind, reliable, and compassionate individual to support a bright, cheerful, and engaging gentleman in his late 30s, who has a positive, young\-at\-heart outlook.
He has a physical disability that affects bone strength and uses a specialist wheelchair and adapted vehicle to maintain his independence and mobility.
This is a unique opportunity within a calm, supportive home environment. You will support the service user with daily routines, activities, enjoyable days out, and medical appointments, promoting wellbeing, and quality of life.
About the role / Working Environment
This position is ideal for parents seeking a structured part\-time role with consistent hours that fit around school runs, childcare, and other family commitments.
The service user lives with his mother and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised environment, vehicle, and personal appearance.
We are looking for someone who is:

Driving Requirements
A full UK driving licence is essential
You must be confident driving an automatic adapted vehicle, including motorway travel.
You will be fully insured to drive the adapted vehicle.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing
- Supporting daily routines and overall wellbeing
- Assisting with light household tasks and errands
- Driving and accompanying to appointments, and trips out.
- Countryside, coastal visits and park walks
- Cafes, garden centres and local attractions
- Seasonal events and entertainment shows
- Recreational trips and places of interest
Schedule 1 \- 15 hours per week
Wednesdays: 09:00 \- 15:00 (every week, 6 hours)
Fridays: 09:00 \- 15:00 (every week, 6 hours)
Sundays: 14:00 \- 20:00 (alternate weeks, 6 hours)
Schedule 2 \- 18 hours per week
Wednesdays: 09:00 \- 15:00 (every week, 6 hours)
Fridays: 09:00 \- 15:00 (every week, 6 hours)
Sundays: 14:00 \- 20:00 (every weeks, 6 hours)
Shifts are negotiable and can be adjusted, where possible, to support the successful candidate, provided the service user’s needs are met. Sunday working hours may also be reduced.
Introductory sessions will be provided for the successful candidate.
