Summary

We are seeking a Youth Support Worker (Part time \- Youth Wellbeing) based in \<LOCATION\> to join our dedicated team. This role is vital in helping young people overcome challenges and achieve their aspirations by providing compassionate support and guidance.
Responsibilities

  • Support young people facing homelessness through tailored assistance and mentorship.

  • Facilitate life skills training sessions to promote independence.

  • Provide mental health counselling and emotional support.

  • Collaborate with other team members to develop individual support plans.

  • Encourage participation in personal development activities.

  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and activities.

  • Promote a safe and welcoming environment for all young people.

  • Engage with local community resources to enhance support networks.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience working with children or young people in a supportive capacity.

  • Strong mentoring and youth work skills.

  • Knowledge of mental health issues affecting young people.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Compassionate approach with a genuine interest in youth wellbeing.

  • Relevant qualifications in social care, youth work, or related fields are preferred.
