Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons for Year 5 pupils
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil achievement and wellbeing
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence
- Use a range of teaching methods and resources to support different learning needs
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in a primary school, ideally as a Year 5 Teacher
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
