SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be working exclusively with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hackney to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for the new academic year.
This rewarding role will see you supporting pupils across two Year 4 classes, including providing targeted 1:1 support for a child with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school is known for its nurturing ethos, supportive leadership team, and commitment to ensuring every child feels valued and successful.

The Opportunity
Full-time Teaching Assistant position starting on 1st September 2026
Supporting learning across two engaging Year 4 classes
Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH needs
Working alongside experienced class teachers and the SENCO
Helping to implement personalised strategies that support learning, wellbeing, and positive behaviour
Long-term role for the full academic year

About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with primary-aged pupils, ideally in Key Stage 2
Be confident supporting children with SEMH, SEND, or additional needs
Build strong and positive relationships with pupils
Demonstrate patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach
Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
