Your new role
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a broad and engaging Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will inspire pupils to develop independence, resilience, and a deeper love of learning, while maintaining high expectations for both behaviour and attainment.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils

  • Assessing progress and using data effectively to inform teaching

  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

  • Promoting strong behaviour management and classroom routines

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

  • Building positive relationships with parents and carers

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience is advantageous but not essential)

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the KS2 curriculum

  • Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Be passionate, adaptable, and committed to raising standards.

  • Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to school life
