Year 1 Teacher – Long Term (Full Responsibilities)

Start: September 2026 – Full Academic Year (Long Term Role)

Paid to scale (depending on experience)

Reed Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Greenwich, part of the Inspire Partnership Trust, who are seeking a Year 1 Teacher for a long-term position starting in September 2026.

This is a full class teacher role (not day-to-day supply) and includes full teaching responsibilities such as planning, preparation, marking and active involvement in the wider school community.

About the Role

• Full-time Year 1 class teacher


• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum


• Full responsibility for planning, assessment and pupil progress


• Work collaboratively with a supportive SLT and KS1 team


• Contribute to school life, including meetings and school events

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• Strong experience teaching Key Stage 1 (Year 1 preferred)


• Confident and proven experience delivering phonics (essential)


• Strong behaviour management and classroom presence


• A nurturing, engaging and proactive teaching style
