Workshop Controller

Mon Motors, one of the UK’s leading family\-run automotive dealer groups, is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Workshop Controller to join our dynamic Aftersales team.

This is a key role within our fast\-paced workshop environment, reporting directly to the Aftersales Manager. You’ll be responsible for leading a team of skilled technicians, ensuring high\-quality servicing and repairs while delivering an exceptional customer experience. 

 Job Role 

• Lead, manage and motivate the workshop team to deliver high standards of work.


• Allocate jobs effectively to technicians and monitor progress against time and quality targets.


• Maintain excellent communication between workshop and front\-of\-house teams.


• Provide technical support and problem\-solving expertise.


• Ensure all brand standards and customer satisfaction KPIs are consistently met.


• Monitor and drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and utilisation.


• Be the go\-to person for updates and information on vehicle progress.

 

To be successful in this role, you will  

• Proven experience in a Workshop Controller role, preferably within a main dealer environment.


• Strong technical background with excellent problem\-solving skills.


• Experienced in team management and workshop performance tracking.


• Highly organised, proactive, and capable of multitasking.


• Proficient with workshop management systems and software.


• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.


• Focused on delivering exceptional customer service and upholding brand standards.
