About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Workshop, Calibration & Testing Technician to join our friendly team in Redhill. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for assembling, calibrating, testing, repairing and preparing our industry-leading environmental monitoring equipment for customers around the world. Working as part of our Workshop team, you'll play a key role in ensuring every product meets the highest standards of quality, reliability and performance. Main Responsibilities • Assemble mechanical and electrical products to engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Calibrate products and maintain accurate calibration records.

  • Test PCB assemblies, sub-assemblies and finished products to approved procedures.

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on products and electronic assemblies.

  • Complete fault finding and support root cause investigations.

  • Pack finished products safely and accurately for customer dispatch.

  • Maintain accurate production, calibration and testing documentation using our ERP/MRP system.

  • Support quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with ISO9001 procedures.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in products and workshop processes.

  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Customer Support teams.

  • Participate in training and continuously develop technical knowledge and skills.

The Person We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work. You'll be a proactive team player who enjoys solving technical problems and is comfortable working both independently and alongside colleagues. Ideally, you'll have experience in mechanical or electronic assembly, calibration or testing within a manufacturing or engineering environment, together with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a commitment to delivering excellent results every time.
