Workshop, Calibration and Testing Technician
About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Workshop, Calibration & Testing Technician to join our friendly team in Redhill. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for assembling, calibrating, testing, repairing and preparing our industry-leading environmental monitoring equipment for customers around the world. Working as part of our Workshop team, you'll play a key role in ensuring every product meets the highest standards of quality, reliability and performance. Main Responsibilities • Assemble mechanical and electrical products to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Calibrate products and maintain accurate calibration records.
- Test PCB assemblies, sub-assemblies and finished products to approved procedures.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on products and electronic assemblies.
- Complete fault finding and support root cause investigations.
- Pack finished products safely and accurately for customer dispatch.
- Maintain accurate production, calibration and testing documentation using our ERP/MRP system.
- Support quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with ISO9001 procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in products and workshop processes.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Customer Support teams.
- Participate in training and continuously develop technical knowledge and skills.
