We are a busy and growing car dealership based on the Navan to Kells Road who are looking for an experienced and organised Workshop \& Aftersales Manager to join our team.

This is a key role within the dealership, responsible for the day\-to\-day running and organisation of the workshop, as well as managing all aspects of our aftersales operation and customer queries.

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, customer\-focused and capable of keeping a busy workshop running efficiently.

The Role

Responsibilities will include coordinating the workshop from start to finish, ensuring vehicles are booked in, work is planned efficiently and jobs are completed on time.

You will also be the main point of contact for customers in relation to servicing, repairs, warranty work and general aftersales queries.

Key Responsibilities

Workshop Management

  • Plan and organise the daily workshop schedule.

  • Coordinate which vehicles are coming into the workshop and when.

  • Allocate jobs to technicians and ensure work is progressing efficiently.

  • Keep track of vehicles throughout the repair process and ensure customers are kept updated.

  • Monitor job completion times and ensure vehicles are ready when promised.

  • Identify and resolve any workshop scheduling or operational issues.

  • Ensure all workshop jobs are properly documented and recorded.
Parts Management
  • Order and organise parts required for workshop jobs.

  • Keep accurate records of parts received and used.

  • Track which parts have been used on each individual vehicle.

  • Monitor parts usage and help minimise unnecessary costs and delays.

  • Ensure warranty parts and associated paperwork are properly recorded.
Aftersales \& Warranty
  • Deal with all customer aftersales enquiries by phone, email and in person.

  • Book customers in for servicing, repairs and warranty work.

  • Manage warranty claims from initial booking through to completion.

  • Keep customers informed throughout the warranty and repair process.

  • Handle customer concerns professionally and work towards a positive resolution.

  • Maintain accurate records of all aftersales and warranty activity.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a motor trade workshop or aftersales environment.

  • Has strong organisational and time\-management skills.

  • Can manage multiple vehicles and jobs simultaneously.

  • Has excellent attention to detail, particularly when it comes to parts and job records.

  • Is confident dealing with customers and handling queries or complaints.

  • Has good computer and administrative skills.

  • Can communicate effectively with technicians, management, suppliers and customers.

  • Is proactive and able to work independently.

  • Has a strong understanding of vehicle servicing, repairs and warranty processes.

  • Takes pride in delivering a high level of customer service.
Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Aftersales Manager, Service Advisor or Workshop Manager would be an advantage.
