About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Workplace Technology Manager to lead and manage the full spectrum of our workplace technology environment — from end\-user desktop support to infrastructure, connectivity, and physical site technology. This is a hands\-on leadership role that balances day\-to\-day operational delivery with longer\-term strategic planning.

The role is mainly remote, with occasional travel to our UK sites for in\-person events and site technology work.

The Role

  • Own and manage all aspects of workplace technology across the group, including desktop support, M365, Intune, networking, telephony, and physical site technology

  • Lead the desktop support function, ensuring a high\-quality, responsive experience for colleagues — reducing friction, manual tasks, and disruption

  • Act as the primary escalation point for workplace technology issues, working with internal teams and external partners to resolve them effectively

  • Manage the full lifecycle of end\-user devices across Windows and macOS platforms, leveraging Intune and associated tooling

  • Administer and optimise the Microsoft 365 estate, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams

  • Oversee networking and connectivity across group sites, working with vendors to maintain stable, secure, and performant environments

  • Manage physical site technology — AV, meeting room systems, printers, and on\-site infrastructure — ensuring everything is fit for purpose

  • Develop and maintain policies, documentation and processes that are robust, repeatable, and auditable

  • Manage vendor and partner relationships, holding them to account on SLAs, quality, and value for money

  • Track software and hardware utilisation against entitlement, ensuring effective capacity and licence management

  • Identify and deliver cost efficiencies across contracts and services in scope

  • Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their needs and translating them into practical technology solutions

  • Collaborate with the Cyber Security team to ensure workplace technology is managed in line with security policies and controls
What We're Looking For

  • 5\+ years of experience managing/administering workplace technology in a hybrid environment

  • Strong hands\-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, and SharePoint

  • Experience managing desktop support teams or functions (Windows and macOS)

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and site connectivity

  • Familiarity with physical site technology (AV, meeting rooms, peripherals)

  • Experience managing vendors and third\-party partners
*Behaviours*
  • A practical problem\-solver who can balance strategic thinking with getting things done

  • Experience managing and developing a team, setting clear priorities, supporting day\-to\-day performance, and creating an environment where people do their best work

  • Clear and confident communicator — equally comfortable with technical and non\-technical audiences

  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a focus on operational excellence

  • Collaborative by nature, with the ability to build trust across teams and levels
