Workplace Operations Associate
<h2><strong>Job Description</strong></h2>
<p>As the Workplace Operations Associate, you will be the backbone of our physical office environment in Chippendale, Sydney. This hands-on role ensures our workspace is safe, efficient, and well-maintained. You will be on the ground helping facilitate building operations, manage logistics, and provide crucial support to the team at our Chippo HQ.</p>
<p><strong>You will…</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Daily Office Operations:</strong> Oversee the daily office set-up, opening/closing procedures, and building access to ensure the space is ready for the team</li>
<li><strong>Maintenance & Hygiene:</strong> Coordinate with cleaners and trades to ensure a safe, hygienic, and well-maintained workspace.</li>
<li><strong>Safety Coordination:</strong> Help maintain workplace health and safety compliance.</li>
<li><strong>Stock Management:</strong> Manage levels and procurement for office, kitchen, and stationery supplies.</li>
<li><strong>Logistics & Mail:</strong> Handle incoming mail and parcels, and assist with company merchandise stock management.</li>
<li><strong>Request Management:</strong> Use JIRA to action and resolve workplace help desk requests quickly.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>You have/are…</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Customer Service Focused: </strong>You have a strong background in customer service (retail, hospitality, or front-of-house) and take pride in providing a high-quality employee experience.</li>
<li><strong>A Proactive Problem Solver: </strong>You have the practical ability to resolve issues quickly and minimise disruption in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li><strong>Detail-Oriented: </strong>You are someone who takes pride in creating a safe, functional, and well-organised office environment.</li>
<li><strong>Hands-on & Solutions-Focused: </strong>You are comfortable with operational work and enjoy being on your feet rather than behind a desk all day.</li>
<li><strong>Physical Readiness: </strong>You are capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and carrying boxes and supplies to restock office and kitchen areas.</li>
