DEMECAN \- our name stands for \*Deutsches Medizinal\-Cannabis\* (German Medical Cannabis). Our goal is to improve the quality of life for patients by providing them with access to medical cannabis of "Made in Germany" quality. In May 2019, DEMECAN became the only independent German company to be awarded a license to produce medical cannabis in Germany. Near Dresden, we have established a center for medical cannabis featuring a state\-of\-the\-art indoor cultivation facility. It is there that our exclusive cannabis plants are currently growing and blooming.

Your Profile:
-----------------

• You are currently studying Business Administration, International Business, Economics or a related field (or you have recently graduated and are looking for a junior role)


• You possess a deep understanding of the UK market, ideally because you have lived there, are originally from there or have a strong connection to it


• You have a genuine interest in the highly dynamic and exciting medical cannabis industry


• You have native\-level English proficiency; German skills are a plus, but not a requirement


• You are proactive, highly motivated and bring a true "hands\-on" mentality to the table

Your Role:
--------------

• We are looking for hands\-on support for an exciting special project: our entry into the UK market! You will work directly with our Sales team and play a key role in establishing DEMECAN in the UK


• You will support the development and execution of our market entry strategy for the United Kingdom


• You will research market potentials, navigate legal frameworks and help identify potential early\-stage distribution partners


• You will assist in preparing international sales pitches and gradually take ownership of your own Business Development tasks
