Working Student - Finance & Accounting

Your responsibilities

• Support day\-to\-day bookkeeping and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time


• Help prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports together with the founders


• Assist with accounts payable and receivable – invoicing, payment tracking, supplier reconciliation


• Support budget monitoring and variance analysis: flag what's off, suggest why


• Help coordinate with our external accountant/Treuhänder and prepare documents for tax and audit processes


• Build and maintain Google sheets based reporting templates that give the team financial clarity


• Assist with ad hoc financial analyses – profitability by product, channel economics, cost tracking


• Help keep our financial processes clean and documented as the company grows

Your profile

• Currently enrolled in a relevant field (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics – or equivalent)


• Solid understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals (double\-entry, basic Swiss GAAP or OR knowledge is a plus)


• Strong Google Sheets skills – you're comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and structured data


• Precise, reliable, and someone who cares about getting the details right


• Able to work independently once you understand the task – you don't need someone checking every step


• Fluent in German and English (both used daily)


• Bonus: experience with accounting software (Bexio) or Shopify financial reporting. But we'll teach you what you need.


• Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to work faster and come prepared with suggestions — not just questions.
