What You'll Do
We are seeking a motivated Working Student to support our Data Protection Team. In this role, you will support compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws across the organization, gaining hands\-on experience in data protection while working closely with the Data Protection Team and relevant cross\-functional stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support our Data Protection Team in handling day\-to\-day data protection matters and implementing GDPR requirements in practice
- Conduct research and assist in preparing legal analyses and assessments on data protection and privacy matters.
- Support the maintenance and updating of our records of processing activities (RoPA) and other data protection documentation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data protection management system
- Provide administrative and organizational support for data protection projects
- You are currently enrolled in a law or business law degree programme, ideally from your 3rd semester onwards.
- You have a good basic understanding of data protection law and a strong interest in applying it in practice; initial practical experience in data protection is an advantage but not required.
- You work in a structured, reliable and detail\-oriented way and are comfortable working independently.
- You have a pragmatic approach to solving problems and are keen to take initiative
- You enjoy working in a team and communicating with different stakeholders.
- You have very good verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
- You are currently enrolled in a law or business law degree programme, ideally from your 3rd semester onwards.
