Your Mission

As a Working Student – CFD Application Engineer, you'll be at the intersection of engineering, simulation, and customer impact. You'll help customers tackle real\-world CFD and heat\-transfer challenges while contributing directly to the development, validation, and documentation of the workflows that power Dive CAE.

From day one, you'll work closely with our Customer Success and Sales Engineering teams, applying your engineering skills to meaningful projects and helping shape how our product is used in practice. As you grow into the role, you'll take on increasing ownership, build deep expertise in simulation, and contribute to solving problems that matter to our customers.

We're looking for someone who's curious, hands\-on, and excited to learn. In return, you'll gain exposure to cutting\-edge engineering applications, work alongside experienced colleagues, and have the opportunity to turn the role into a thesis project and, ultimately, a full\-time position at Dive.#### Your Responsibilities

  • Translate engineering problems into simulation models using Dive CAE

  • Set up, run, and post\-process CFD and/or conjugate heat transfer simulations

  • Evaluate simulation results for physical plausibility and numerical robustness

  • Support customer cases, proofs of concept, and internal simulation activities

  • Document workflows, tutorials, and best practices in our knowledge base

  • Support technical questions around simulation setup and result interpretation

  • Help in setup automation via Python scripting

  • Over time, contribute to AI\-supported engineering workflows

Your Qualifications

  • You are studying Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field

  • You have a solid foundation in CFD, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, or numerical methods through your studies, projects, or previous work

  • You have some hands\-on simulation experience

  • You are interested in scripting, automation, and modern simulation workflows

  • You communicate clearly and are comfortable working in English and German

  • Nice to have: experience with CHT, CAD, Python/MATLAB, or ParaView, turbulence modelling
We know that great candidates don't always meet every requirement. If you're excited about the opportunity and believe you can make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.#### Our Offer
