About the Role:
We are looking for a commercially minded and highly organised Wholesale Account Manager to join our growing Wholesale team.
This is a newly created role within a fast moving health and wellness business, offering the opportunity to work across wholesale, retailer marketplaces, distributor and clearance accounts. The role offers real variety, autonomy and the opportunity to help support the continued growth of our brands across the UK and international markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting key accounts through stock management, forecasting, promotional activity, NPD onboarding and day\-to\-day account coordination. This role would suit someone who is proactive, driven and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a busy commercial environment.
Strong Excel skills are essential, alongside previous experience working within a B2B, wholesale or retail facing role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day\-to\-day activity across wholesale, marketplaces, distributor and e\-retail accounts
- Support retailer onboarding, product launches and promotional activity
- Manage stock levels, forecasting and replenishment coordination across accounts
- Maintain and update product specifications, retailer assets and NPD documentation
- Coordinate delisting and NPD activity where required
- Support customer requirements including regulatory and technical documentation
- Manage existing clearance and discount channel customers while identifying new opportunities for overstocks and short dated stock
- Assist with wholesale forecasting, reporting and commercial account tracking
- Coordinate samples for new product launches and customer requests
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity within HubSpot CRM
- Support customer segmentation, mailshots and marketing campaigns
- Assist with LinkedIn marketing activity for Piping Rock UK including brand launches, NPD and company updates
- Support business development activity targeting independent retailers and smaller pharmacy groups
- Build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure accounts run smoothly
- Previous experience in a wholesale, B2B or account management role
- Strong understanding of how retailers, wholesalers and distributors operate
- Advanced Excel skills with confidence managing large spreadsheets and data
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Experience managing stock, forecasting and promotional activity
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions focused approach
- Able to work autonomously and manage workload independently within a fast paced environment
- Experience using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot
- Experience working with retailer or marketplace portals
- Experience supporting NPD launches and onboarding
- Experience managing distributor and e\-retailer accounts
- Exposure to clearance or short dated stock channels
- Experience supporting LinkedIn or B2B marketing activity
- Experience within supplements, FMCG, health \& wellness or retail sectors desirable
