Ridgeline, a premier outdoor clothing brand with deep New Zealand roots, is seeking a high\-performing Wholesale Account Manager to lead and grow our presence across the South of England.
This is a highly autonomous, field\-based role. You will be the face of Ridgeline, managing a diverse portfolio of national and independent retail accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring our brand stands out in the rural and outdoor retail landscape.
The Role
Working closely with buyers and store teams, you will combine sales strategy, relationship management, and hands\-on merchandising to maximize account performance. You will be responsible for:
- Account Management \& Sales Growth: Developing a territory\-wide portfolio, identifying new business opportunities, and building long\-term partnerships.
- Seasonal Presales: Leading the forward\-order process to secure seasonal commitments and manage the order book against targets.
- Merchandising \& Brand Presentation: Visiting stores to monitor performance, providing product training, and ensuring Ridgeline is represented effectively in\-store.
- Commercial Analysis: Identifying growth opportunities through data\-driven insights and market trends.
- Proven Experience: A background in wholesale account management or field sales (experience in the outdoor, rural, or apparel industry is highly advantageous).
- Commercial Mindset: Strong negotiation skills and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Autonomy: Highly organized and comfortable managing a large geographical territory independently.
- Relationship Building: The ability to influence buyers and support store\-level staff with equal confidence.
- Requirements: A valid UK driving license is essential for this role.
