Working as a Backend Developer at Fnac Vanden Borre, your mission is to develop internal applications, design and build APIs and integrations connecting our systems with third\-party partners and platforms, and contribute to the continuous evolution of our digital ecosystem, including vandenborre.be
Supported by a team of analysts and developers, you will design, develop and maintain business\-critical applications and integrations that support our retail operations and customer experience. You will also contribute to the maintenance, optimization and lifecycle management of existing applications.
You will work in an agile environment, using Scrum methodologies and collaborating within small multidisciplinary teams. At Fnac Vanden Borre, most of our IT applications are developed in\-house, giving you the opportunity to work closely with the business, gain a deep understanding of retail processes, and have a tangible impact on our digital transformation initiatives.
To help you get up to speed with our IT platforms, development practices and business processes, a personalized onboarding and training program will be provided when you join.
Profile
- You are a team player with a positive mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
- You can understand the bigger picture while keeping attention to technical details.
- You have a degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience in custom application development.
- You are fluent in Dutch or French and have a working proficiency in English.
- You have solid object\-oriented programming skills.
