Salary: £31,650 – £51,048 per annum (Dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate. In this role, you will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and motivate learners of all abilities, helping them to build confidence, resilience, and a genuine appreciation for Mathematics.
You will play a key role in developing students’ problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills—equipping them with the knowledge and capabilities they need for both academic success and future career pathways.

The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire learners.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.
- Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
- Contribute to the wider school community and support extracurricular opportunities where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths education.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teaching and learning.
- Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs.
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one.
