We have an exciting opportunity for two experiencedWellbeing Neurodivergence Specialists to join our innovative Children and Young People (CYP) Wellbeing Service, which serves as the central hub for all mental health referrals for young people in Brighton & Hove.

The service provides mildtomoderate mental health support for children and young people aged 2–24 years living in Brighton & Hove.

We’re looking for accredited professionals from a CWP, EMHP or similar background, with proven experience delivering lowintensity CBT interventions.

In this role you will be working with children and young people with ADHD and/or Autism, where neurodivergence is diagnosed or suspected, and presentations are mild to moderate. This is a lowintensity, firstline CBT offer, delivered through inperson sessions and/or group work.

Key responsibilities include triaging referrals, completing wellbeing assessments, and delivering shortterm, evidencebased treatment.

About you

You will have solid experience of delivering evidence-based, short term low-intervention therapy to Children and Young People (8-24) in a community setting. Along with substantive experience of working with Children and Young People (8-24) with suspected or diagnosed Neurodivergent conditions (ADHD and Autism).

You will already be accredited or eligible for accreditation under HCPC, BACP, BABCP, UKCP, BPS, PTUK or AFSP.

You are a strong team player, confident working under supervision, and able to safeguard young people while running groups or structured activities. You can communicate complex information clearly both verbally and in writing, while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

A teaching or training qualification (e.g. Level 3 AET) would be an advantage, along with experience of delivering training groups.
