About the Role We are recruiting a hard-working, reliable Welfare & General Labourer for an ongoing, long-term project in Kent
This dual-purpose role split between site welfare maintenance and general site labouring requires an operative with a Valid Driving Licence to assist with site vehicle movements, collecting local supplies, and managing facilities across site.
Key Responsibilities • Welfare Duties: Maintaining, cleaning, and sanitizing site canteen facilities, washrooms, drying rooms, and site management offices.
- Consumables Stocking: Ensuring soap, toilet rolls, hand sanitizer, and cleaning stock are continuously replenished.
- General Labouring: Assisting trades on site, clearing construction waste, sweeping access routes, and keeping skips tidy.
- Vehicle Duties: Using site or company vehicles (when required) for minor local material runs, collecting supplies, or moving light equipment between site compounds.
- Adhering strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence (Clean preferred, essential for site transit/supply runs).
- Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and safety gloves).
- Previous experience in a combined welfare cleaning and general site labouring role.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of managing daily welfare schedules independently.
- Physically fit and happy to split duties between light cleaning and general site manual handling.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Duration: Long-term / ongoing work.
- Pay Rate: £15.07 - £16.55 per hour.
- Weekly pay via PAYE, Umbrella, or CIS options.
