Welcome Team Adviser
Here at Bournemouth & Poole College, we are looking for a Welcome Team Adviser on a full time permanent basis working 37 hours per week.
In return, you will receive a competitive annual salary of £25,011.
The Role
The Welcome Team Adviser plays a key role in delivering an efficient admissions service, responding to enquiries from parents/carers, students and staff while supporting the admissions process from start to finish.
What you'll be doing
Handling student applications, maintaining accurate records and reports, and providing a high standard of customer service throughout the admissions journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a designated caseload of prospective students throughout their journey from application to enrolment, providing accurate information, advice and guidance on admissions processes while promoting a positive and welcoming experience.
- Process and maintain student applications, ensuring all information and supporting documentation is complete and accurate, and update application statuses throughout the admissions cycle.
- Act as the first point of contact for applicant enquiries via telephone, email, face-to-face, WhatsApp and other communication channels, providing timely and professional support.
- Prepare and send admissions communications, including application updates, interview invitations, offer information and guidance on next steps.
- Support applicants, parents/carers and schools throughout the admissions process, including facilitating campus tours and providing information on courses, entry requirements and college services
- Assist with enrolment activities, student registration and pre-enrolment onboarding activity, ensuring applicants receive relevant information and updates before joining the College.
About You
- Proven experience in a similar customer facing role where you successfully managed a diverse caseload of work
- Highly organised with excellent customer service skills
- Experienced in accurately maintaining records and applying a high level of attention to detail across all tasks
- Confidence using digital systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and awareness of safeguarding in an educational setting
