Weekend Coffee Shop Supervisor
The Artisan Cakery in Kemptown is looking for a Weekend Supervisor to work in our busy coffee shop and cakery. Working 15 hours over both Saturday and Sunday, you will be responsible for opening and closing the shop and the daily running of the store, reporting directly to the owner.
We are looking for someone who can start immediately.
Responsibilities:
\- Oversee daily operations of the shop, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
\- Coordinate food production and preparation, ensuring high quality and adherence to food safety standards
\- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including equipment and storage areas
\- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
\- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving shop performance
Requirements
\- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a food service setting
\- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
\- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
\- Excellent communication and customer service skills
\- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast\-paced environment
\- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Type: Part\-time
Pay: £13\.50 per hour
