Weekend Clinic Receptionist / Patient Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organised Weekend Clinic Receptionist / Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing patient appointments, and supporting administrative tasks during weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have previous office or administrative experience and a passion for delivering compassionate patient care. Duties

• Greet patients warmly and efficiently upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.


• Manage patient check\-in and check\-out processes accurately and promptly.


• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using our booking system.


• Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.


• Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.


• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.


• Support clinic staff with various organisational duties as required during shifts.


• Ensure the waiting area remains tidy and comfortable for patients.

• Previous office or administrative experience is highly desirable.


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Friendly, professional demeanour with a caring attitude towards patients.


• Ability to work independently during weekend shifts and manage multiple tasks efficiently.


• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel).


• Flexibility to work during weekends, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays.


• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential. This role is essential in ensuring our patients receive outstanding service while maintaining the efficient operation of the clinic during weekend hours.
