  • Sunday: 10:00am – 6:00pm

  • Tuesday: 9:00am – 9:00pm

As part of our ambitious growth plans, we’re excited to introduce a brand\-new role within our Wedding \& Events Team.

We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and commercially minded Wedding \& Events Sales Executive to help grow our wedding and events business while delivering an exceptional customer experience from the very first enquiry.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, loves meeting people and thrives on turning enquiries into confirmed bookings.

Working alongside our experienced Wedding Team and reporting directly to the Hotel Director, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our wedding and events business by building lasting relationships, bringing fresh ideas and contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.

About the Role

Reporting to the Hotel Director, you’ll work closely with our Head of Wedding Administration and Head of Wedding \& Events to deliver an exceptional customer journey from the initial enquiry through to the final planning stages of every event.

You’ll become one of the first people prospective couples meet, creating a lasting first impression of the Sitwell Arms Hotel through engaging venue show rounds, exceptional customer service and a genuine passion for creating unforgettable experiences.

This role combines hospitality, relationship building and commercial awareness. Alongside converting enquiries into confirmed bookings, you’ll actively contribute to the future growth of the department by analysing sales performance, supporting marketing initiatives and identifying new opportunities to develop our wedding and events business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to all wedding and event enquiries.

  • Conduct engaging and informative venue show rounds.

  • Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through exceptional customer service and professional sales techniques.

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with prospective couples, event organisers, corporate clients and recommended suppliers, acting as an ambassador for The Sitwell Arms throughout every stage of the customer journey.

  • Prepare quotations, contracts and event documentation.

  • Conduct final planning meetings with clients.

  • Maximise revenue through the ethical upselling of accommodation, food, beverage and additional services.

  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Wedding Administration and Head of Wedding \& Events to ensure a seamless customer journey from enquiry to event delivery.

  • Attend wedding fairs, venue showcases, networking events and promotional activities to generate new business opportunities.

  • Identify new opportunities to grow wedding, private event and corporate function business.

  • Support the ongoing development of wedding packages, promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.

  • Analyse enquiry trends, booking conversions and sales performance against marketing campaigns.

  • Prepare regular sales reports for the Hotel Director, making recommendations to support future marketing activity, budget planning and departmental sales targets.

  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer feedback, identifying opportunities to enhance both the guest experience and commercial performance of the department.

Essential Experience
  • Previous experience within wedding, hotel or events sales is essential.

  • A proven track record of converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.

  • Experience conducting venue show rounds and client meetings.

  • Excellent customer service and relationship\-building skills.

  • Strong administration and organisational ability.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM or booking systems.

Flexibility

Whilst the core working pattern for this role is Sunday and Tuesday, flexibility will occasionally be required to support wedding showcases, open evenings, wedding fairs, networking events and other promotional activities.

Where additional hours are required, appropriate time off in lieu or alternative working arrangements will be agreed.
