Web Development Engineer Intern

<h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Build and maintain AI-powered automation workflows that connect our product to internal and external systems</li>
<li>Develop features using AI-assisted tooling and autonomous agents</li>
<li>Collaborate across teams on architecture and product direction</li>
<li>Integrate third-party APIs and internal services</li>
<li>Translate designs into shipped, production-quality solutions</li>
<li>Participate in code reviews, PRs, and agile ceremonies</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>AI-first engineer. You've set up custom automation workflows (e.g., wiring Claude or similar LLMs into forms, APIs, or internal tools to replace manual work)</li>
<li>A self-starter who can take ownership of a project and work independently and collaboratively</li>
<li>Rigorous about reviewing AI-generated output and taking full ownership of the code you ship</li>
<li>Good attention to detail and initiative</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Graduating December 2026 or later from a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or a closely related field.</li>
<li>Proficiency in React and/or TypeScript, or demonstrated interest through coursework or personal projects</li>
<li>Foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript</li>
<li>Familiarity with APIs and standard engineering workflows (version control, code review, agile)</li>
<li>Based in or able to commute to the NYC metro area</li>
<li>Candidates requiring visa sponsorship are welcome to apply</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with LLM APIs or AI automation workflows</li>
<li>SDK development experience</li>
<li>Backend or full-stack exposure (Java a plus)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Compensation & Perks</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>$17–$19/hour, commensurate with experience</li>
<li>40 hours/week commitment required (During the Summer)</li>
