Duties
- Design compelling website layouts and interfaces using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Illustrator, ensuring visual appeal aligns with brand identity.
- Develop responsive web pages utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, SCSS/SASS, and front\-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Redux, and Node.js to ensure optimal performance across devices.
- Create wireframes and prototypes with Balsamiq, Axure, InVision, and Visio to visualize concepts and facilitate user research and usability testing.
- Implement SEO best practices through content management systems like WordPress and Drupal to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine UI/UX designs based on data analysis from tools like Google Analytics.
- Maintain website by performing updates using PHP, MySQL, SQL, SharePoint, and website maintenance tools; troubleshoot issues promptly for smooth operation.
- Collaborate with developers using Git version control to ensure code quality; utilize Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design and animation enhancements with Adobe After Effects.
- Apply information architecture principles to organize content effectively; create wireframes and prototypes that enhance user interaction and engagement.
- Proven experience in digital design, interaction design, UI/UX principles, and front\-end development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including AJAX), PHP, Python or VHDL is highly desirable.
- Hands\-on experience with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal; familiarity with website builders like SharePoint is a plus.
- Skilled in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, XD, Figma, InVision or Axure for creating engaging visuals.
- Knowledge of responsive web design techniques using Bootstrap or SCSS/SASS for mobile\-first development.
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics for data\-driven decision making; experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of usability principles, information architecture, wireframing tools (Balsamiq), and user research methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross\-functional teams using Git version control; experience with Node.js or Redux is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills along with a keen eye for detail; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
Pay: £32,420\.00\-£34,020\.00 per year
