Maia Health \& Beauty Ltd is a growing healthcare, consumer health and e\-commerce business with ambitious plans to expand its portfolio of brands, products and digital sales channels.

Our portfolio includes DrTung’s oral healthcare products and Timms Medical products. We are investing in our digital presence to improve customer experience, strengthen our brands and grow our online business.

We are looking for a talented, commercially minded Web Designer \& Developer with strong WordPress and WooCommerce experience to join our team on\-site.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of our websites, make a tangible contribution to business growth and help develop the digital foundations of an ambitious company.

The opportunity

You will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and optimising our websites, with a particular focus on WordPress and WooCommerce.

We need someone who can combine creative design skills with hands\-on technical development. You should be comfortable taking a project from initial concept and wireframe through to implementation, testing, launch and ongoing improvement.

You will work directly with the company director, helping turn commercial objectives into professional, effective digital experiences.

We are looking for someone who understands that a successful website must do more than just look good: it must load quickly, work reliably, rank well, provide an excellent customer experience and generate sales.

  • Develop and maintain WooCommerce online stores.

  • Improve product pages, product categories, search, navigation and shopping journeys.

  • Configure and optimise WooCommerce functionality, including product variations, discounts, shipping and checkout.

  • Support payment gateway, delivery, stock management, analytics and other integrations.

  • Improve the customer journey from initial website visit through to completed purchase.

  • Identify opportunities to increase conversion rates, average order value and repeat purchases.

  • Support new product launches, promotional campaigns and e\-commerce expansion.
3\. User experience and visual design
  • Create wireframes, prototypes and page designs using appropriate design tools.

  • Apply strong principles of typography, colour, layout, accessibility and visual hierarchy.

  • Design clear, intuitive navigation and customer journeys.

  • Ensure our websites present products professionally and communicate trust and credibility.

  • Maintain consistent branding across websites, landing pages and digital assets.

  • Use customer feedback, competitor analysis and website data to inform improvements.

  • Improve page loading speeds and Core Web Vitals.

  • Identify and resolve broken functionality, display issues and compatibility problems.

  • Keep WordPress core, themes and plugins appropriately maintained.

  • Support A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation where appropriate.
6\. Content management and digital marketing support
  • Upload and maintain product information, descriptions, images, banners and other digital content.

  • Optimise product imagery and page layouts for usability and sales.

  • Build and update campaign landing pages.

  • Support email marketing, CRM and other marketing technology integrations.

  • Work with the team to deliver website updates and promotional campaigns on time.

  • Help establish consistent processes for managing and improving our digital properties.
7\. Continuous improvement and new projects
  • Take ownership of assigned website projects from planning through to delivery.
