Waste Operative
WASTE OPERATIVE – WORCESTERSHIRE
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Waste Operative to join our well-established client based in Worcestershire, processing and disposing of clinical waste.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, excellent rates of pay and the opportunity to develop within a specialist waste management environment.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Waste Operative, Clinical Waste Operative, Waste Sorter, General Operative, Industrial Cleaner, Production Operative or Warehouse Operative.
Shifts
- 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern
- 06:00 – 18:30
- 18:00 – 06:30
- £13.50 - £14.85 per hour
As a Waste Operative, you will receive:
- Excellent hourly rates

As a Waste Operative, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Sorting medical, clinical and pharmaceutical waste for processing
- Loading various recycling bins
- Processing different waste types in accordance with site procedures
- Organising waste areas and positioning bins correctly
- Manually sorting waste by hand
- Using PPE provided on-site at all times
- Completing additional duties as required
To be successful as a Waste Operative, you will need:
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Reliability and self-motivation
- The ability to multitask effectively
- A flexible approach and willingness to undertake varied duties
- Strong team-working skills
- A full UK Driving Licence and own transport due to the location of the site
- Full training on company policies and procedures
- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
