The Role
To manage and process all aftersales warranty claims efficiently and accurately, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered at all times. The Warranty Engineer will act as a key point of contact for customers and internal departments, carrying out warranty\-related activities and ensuring claims are resolved within agreed timescales while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
The role requires the Warranty Engineer to work primarily on customer and company sites throughout Scotland from Monday to Friday, providing hands\-on support for warranty resolution activities as required. Occasional travel to sites outside of Scotland may be necessary to support business and customer requirements.
The successful candidate will also be required to travel periodically to our Leads Road site in Hull to collect parts, coordinate materials for upcoming work, review scheduled activities for the following week, and liaise with the internal team to ensure efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers, service engineers and internal departments to resolve warranty\-related matters.
- Process all aftersales warranty claims efficiently and accurately,
- Maintain accurate records of all warranty claims, correspondence, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure warranty claims are addressed within required deadlines and followed through to successful resolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding professionally and promptly to customer enquiries and concerns.
- Prioritise workloads effectively to meet deadlines and service level expectations.
- Monitor outstanding warranty cases and provide regular updates to customers and management.
- Identify recurring issues and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to achieve business objectives.

- Experience working in a fast\-paced and customer\-focused environment.
- Ability to respond positively to changing priorities and business needs.
