<p class="PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer" data-start="26" data-end="680">The <strong data-start="30" data-end="65">NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC)</strong>, located in Stavanger, Norway, is NATO’s premier centre for <strong data-start="126" data-end="211">joint operational and strategic-level collective training and warfare development</strong>. As part of the NATO Command Structure and reporting to <strong data-start="268" data-end="318">Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT)</strong>, the JWC directly supports both <strong data-start="351" data-end="359">SACT</strong> and <strong data-start="364" data-end="408">Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR)</strong> by strengthening the operational readiness, interoperability, and effectiveness of NATO Command and Force Structure Headquarters. Through its multinational workforce, the Centre plays a critical role in preparing the Alliance for current and emerging security challenges.</p>
<p class="" data-start="682" data-end="1299" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">The department we are supporting is responsible for the <strong data-start="738" data-end="847">planning, preparation, and execution of operational and strategic-level exercises and training activities</strong>, while integrating warfare development, experimentation, concept development, and lessons learned into NATO's training programmes. By delivering technologically integrated, multi-domain exercises and maintaining joint doctrine and standards, the JWC enhances NATO's decision-making capabilities, interoperability, and warfighting readiness, ensuring the Alliance remains prepared to respond effectively across the full spectrum of military operations.</p>
