Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and efficient Warehouse Workers to join our team on a Permanent Contract. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all products are handled, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast\-paced environment.
Duties
- Daily Warehouse Support: Support the daily picking and packing of orders for dispatch, ensuring every package meets our specific guidelines and quality standards.
- Inventory \& Systems: Operate warehouse management systems to track stock levels, log incoming shipments, and assist with regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Logistics \& Handling: Help with the loading and unloading of lorries, ensuring the safe handling of materials and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.
- Specialised Returns Inspection: Follow strict quality assurance protocols for delicate items like watches and jewellery. You will carefully check for defects, scents (such as perfume), or signs of wear before items are cleared for return to inventory.
- Rapid Re\-merchandising: Work closely with the wider team to ensure "like\-new" items are cleaned, repacked, and available for sale again within 48 hours of receipt.
- Process Efficiency: Follow established workflows for receiving, inspecting, and restocking returned goods to ensure the process remains as efficient as possible.
- Providing Insights: Identify and report recurring patterns in returns (such as consistent issues with sizing or product photography) to help the E\-commerce and Product teams reduce return rates.
- Stock Maintenance: Assist in organising items for refurbishment by watchmakers and help coordinate the liquidation of non\-resellable inventory by liaising with B2B team.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely is required.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control during picking and packing processes.
Pay: £24,784\.50 per year
