Warehouse Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities within the team. Overseeing and managing the day\-to\-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials, while ensuring efficient coordination amongst the colleagues.
Managing and maintaining inventory, which includes maintaining accurate records, conducting cycle counts, and resolving any discrepancies. Work together with other areas of the business, such as 3rd party logistics and Operations teams, to effectively manage and prioritise incoming and outgoing shipments. Championing new processes and being the go\-to expert in the Warehouse.
Consistently seek out opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and decrease costs. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with quality standards. Manage and resolve any warehouse\-related issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining positive employee relations. Prepare and analyse reports on warehouse operations, including productivity, inventory levels, and shipping/receiving accuracy, providing recommendations for improvement. Regular communication across sites, Odema, 3rd part logistics, and internal stakeholders.
Proactive, and punctual, you will have a genuine interest in working for a global digital transformation company and take ownership of a warehouse functions to serve many of our customers. The Warehouse plays a pivotal role for our clients on their project implementations and your primary purpose is to ensure a smooth and successful running of our warehouse by communicating regularly on progress and challenges.
Customer focused and an excellent communicator, you will have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and the ability to build effective relationships and prioritise your own workload whilst establishing and following daily routines. You may already have a background in warehouse and logistics, but more important is your ability to juggle workloads whilst maintaining the highest level of customer care and recording / relaying accurate information.
- Knowledge of warehouse management and inventory software packages
- MS Office (Excel) proficiency
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
- Weekend availability for stock takes
