Warehouse & Stock Controller

Tiptree Patisserie is seeking a full\-time Warehouse \& Stock Controller to join our team in Witham. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy food production environment, supporting the logistical aspects of the manufacture of high\-quality bakery and patisserie products. Tiptree Patisserie is a wholesale bakery and patisserie, based in Witham and is part of the wider Wilkin \& Sons group.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and check all deliveries from suppliers following the goods in procedure


• Ensure all orders are sorted and ready for the next day's outload


• Wrap and label pallets for dispatch


• Pick items for production from the warehouse where required


• Flag product shortages and date issues to management


• Ensure stock rotation following FIFO at all times


• Place purchase orders with suppliers and ensure they are received


• Ensure high level of cleanliness \& order of internal and external areas, following methods such as clean as you go and deep cleaning when required


• Delivering goods to customers or collecting goods from suppliers as required


• Complete accurate stock checks


• Complete daily health \& safety checks on forklift trucks, and related equipment

• Full UK driving licence


• Polite, methodical, comfortable working in a team and on your own

• Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence


• Food Safety Level 1


• Basic computer skills


• Good levels of literacy and numeracy
