Warehouse Reach Forklift Driver

Before applying: Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role. A significant part of the job involves auditing pallets, checking stock and accurately identifying Telecoms \& IT equipment using part numbers and serial numbers. Applicants must be confident reading and searching alphanumeric product codes and entering information accurately into computer systems when required.

We are only considering applicants who live within approximately 30 minutes' commute of EN6 3JN and have at least 1 year's practical experience operating a reach truck.

We are looking for a reliable individual with a good work ethic and attention to detail to join our team. You will receive training across multiple areas of the business, enabling you to support the team to a high standard.

The successful candidate must be able to use our Crown Reach Truck to pick stock from pallets, identify and locate Telecoms \& IT products using Part number and serial number and processing this jobs ready for dispatch through our logistics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift to pick and move stock within the warehouse (must be forklift reach truck trained).


• Pallet auditing and stock checking are a major part of this role, so a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and confidence working with alphanumeric part numbers and serial numbers is essential. You must be able to carefully read, identify, compare and search for product codes within our stock and computer systems, as mistakes can directly affect stock accuracy and customer orders.


• Maintaining good housekeeping and ensuring a safe, organised working environment.


• Adding stock into our internal systems and storing items in the correct location.


• Picking and packing jobs through our logistics systems.


• Supporting wider business tasks as needed to meet customer requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

• Forklift licence (essential), reach truck licence.


• Valid UK driving licence (for occasional van use).


• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.


• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data entry, courier systems).


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.


• Physically fit to handle manual work, including heavy lifting and being on your feet for extended periods.


• Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive “can\-do” attitude.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Salary:

£29,000 starting salary.
