*Job Summary*
The Warehouse Operator / Logistics Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate, safe, and on\-time warehouse operations, including receiving, put\-away, picking/packing, shipping, freight bookings, documentation, and inventory control. This role coordinates closely with internal teams (Sales, Production/Operations, Quality) and external partners (freight forwarders, carriers) to support domestic and international shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse
- Receive inbound shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders/packing slips, and ensure accurate labeling and put\-away.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders ensuring correct product, quantity, labeling, and packaging standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts\-if certified/required).
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse areas using 5S principles and safe material handling practices.
- Prepare outbound shipments for domestic and international delivery, including:
- Carrier selection coordination and freight bookings
- Scheduling pickups and deliveries
- Generating shipping labels and documentation
- Create and manage shipping documents such as:
- Packing lists, commercial invoices, delivery notes
- Lead daily warehouse priorities, workload planning, and task assignments.
- Own carrier/forwarder relationships and basic performance tracking (on\-time pickup, transit time, claims).
- Experience in warehouse operations and shipping logistics (receiving, picking/packing, shipping).
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Familiarity with freight bookings, carrier coordination, and shipping documentation.
- Comfort working in ERP/WMS systems
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, safety, and organization.
- Accuracy \& accountability (inventory and shipping documentation)
- Organization \& planning (prioritizing work, staging shipments, managing space)
- Collaboration (with internal teams and logistics partners)
- On\-site warehouse/operations environment.
- Use of PPE may be required (safety shoes, high\-visibility vest, gloves, etc.).
- May include occasional overtime during peak shipping periods or inventory counts.
