Duties

• Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse using manual handling techniques or forklifts where certified.


• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and process shipments accurately.


• Pick and pack orders meticulously to ensure correct items are prepared for dispatch, adhering to quality control standards.


• Stock shelves and storage areas systematically, maintaining organization for easy access and inventory accuracy.


• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments.


• Conduct regular stock checks, perform quality inspections on goods, and report discrepancies or damages promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in materials handling, picking \& packing, and stock management.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift while following health \& safety guidelines.


• Mechanical aptitude or basic understanding of warehouse equipment is advantageous.


• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records and ensure quality standards.


• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy setting.

Pay: £25,420\.00\-£40,405\.85 per year
