Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Scobie \& Junor are seeking a reliable and detail\-oriented Warehouse Packer/ Picker to join our team at our East Kilbride facility. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing finished goods for shipping, ensuring products are handled with care and dispatched accurately to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive items from the order picker, check for quality, and prepare them for dispatch.


• Ensure all items are undamaged before packing.


• Clean and prepare shipping containers.


• Label and securely wrap goods for shipping.


• Pack items onto pallets in an organised manner.


• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.


• Keep products separated, well\-organised, and in good condition.


• Report any quality issues promptly.


• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet truck, pallet wrapper).


• Follow good manufacturing and workplace safety practices.


• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.


• Carry out additional tasks as required by the manager.

• Able to work methodically and take pride in accuracy and attention to detail.


• Flexible and willing to support the needs of the business.


• Positive attitude with good communication skills.


• Physically capable of bending, lifting, and handling packages safely.


• Reliable and proactive in approach to daily tasks.

• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm


• Flexibility may be required to support business demands.
