Role Purpose
We are now looking to recruit an additional Warehouse Operative where the role will be based out of our Santry depot where you will report to the Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager.
The role will involve a full technical induction and training programme to enable the successful candidate to gain experience with the company’s product offering, allowing them to develop and best fulfil their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Will ensure all sales orders are accurately picked in a timely manner and despatched according to agreed delivery schedules
- Will keep stock in a tidy, orderly manner
- Will ensure that no stock leaves stores without the proper paperwork and signatures required
- Will handle occasional customer queries at the collections counter
- Will alert managers to incomplete orders and advise to re\-order stock if not already on order on the system
- Will carry out daily ABC stock taking exercises as required
- Will use a forklift when required in accordance with standard forklift operating procedures
- Will have basic computer skills i.e. ability to use email and master ‘Intact’ \- sales and inventory system
- Will be open to variation in job role as required i.e. flexibility essential in line with needs of the company
- Must be a team player, a good people person, have good customer service skills
- Minimum two years warehouse / picking experience
- Forklift / Bendy Experience a distinct advantage
- Manual Handling Cert
- A good level of physical fitness
- Counterbalance license and experience preferred if possible.
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:45pm
Fridays: 7:00am – 2:45pm for two weeks concurrently.
Monday to Thursday: 10:00am – 6:45pm
Fridays: 10:00am – 5:45pm on every third week
