WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Trailer Services
- Loading stock from staging areas onto delivery vehicles, ensuring scanning and checking procedures are adhered to.
- Unloading stock and placing into correct areas for put away.
- Checking goods in and goods out for accuracy as per manifest provided.
- Reporting faults, damages, or errors to the supervisor on duty immediately.
- Completion of appropriate paperwork at each stage.
- Pick, pack, and preparation of goods for shipment as communicated by logistics coordinator in accordance with customer specifications.
- Stock put away.
- Replenishment of pick faces as necessary.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist Stock Controller with stock takes.
- Communicate issues with supervisor and logistics coordinator to ensure quality of shipments.
- Adhere to quality control procedures to ensure pick accuracy.
- Supporting the health and safety of oneself and others through strict adherence to company policy.
- Safe operation of Material Handling Equipment and warehouse machinery.
- Immediate reporting of accidents, incidents, near misses or health and safety concerns, and cooperating with investigations into same.
- Maintaining communication with Freight, Logistics, and Transport departments to ensure smooth flow of information through the business.
- Regularly referring to the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accuracy of information.
- Understand warehouse layout and processes and communicate suggestions for improvement.
- Complete and process necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
- Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to customer inquiries regarding orders, status complaints etc.
- Cooperate with investigations by Logistics and Quality Departments to satisfy customer inquiries

- 1\-year proven experience in similar role.
- Previous experience using MHE preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of logistics industry (preferred).
- Computer\-competent with a working knowledge of logistics software/wms systems.
- Strong organisational skills and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen on working in a fast\-paced environment
