Warehouse Operative

Reed Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a well-established manufacturer based in Newry who are seeking a motivated and reliable Stores / Warehouse Operative to join their team.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on position within a busy warehouse environment, supporting the day-to-day operations involved in handling and distributing goods and associated accessories.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 6:30am – 5:00pm

Friday: 6:30am – 4:00pm

Salary & Benefits

Annual salary 38,220 – 40,768

Key Responsibilities

• Managing all incoming and outgoing goods


• Handling heavy goods


• Preparing goods for dispatch, sale, delivery, or collection


• Coordinating closely with administration and fitting teams


• Ensuring stock is organised and warehouse operations run efficiently

Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials


• Valid Forklift Truck licence/certificate


• Full driving licence (essential) – occasional van driving between two sites and local deliveries required


• CSR Site Card desirable (can be obtained quickly if not already held)


• Strong teamwork and communication skills
