Warehouse Operative (Portuguese Speaking)

We are importers and distributors of fine Mediterranean Wholesale Food and Wine and we pride ourselves to work with premium brands.

We supply a wide range of businesses such as Restaurants, Hotels, Delicatessens, Off Licences, Corner Shops, Pubs, Catering and Supermarkets.

Warehouse Operative responsibilities include:

• Prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label)


• Assist delivery drivers with loading products into vehicles ready for delivery


• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)


• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits


• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation


• Report any discrepancies


• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co\-workers


• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment (optional)


• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

The ideal candidate will be proactive and able to work under pressure during busier times (seasonal)

Working hours may vary. Shifts to be agreed with Warehouse Manager

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: £12\.71\-£13\.50 per hour
