Universal Container Services Ltd. is one of the UK's leading suppliers of shipping containers, container conversions, and container parts \& accessories.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Parts \& Accessories Department at our Irlam depot. This is a hands\-on role focused on picking, packing, receiving, and dispatching container parts and accessories for customers throughout the UK.

What you'll be doing

As a Warehouse Operative within our Parts \& Accessories team, your responsibilities will include:

• Picking customer orders accurately from stock locations.• Packing orders securely for courier and pallet deliveries.• Receiving and checking incoming stock deliveries.• Booking goods in and maintaining accurate stock records.• Preparing orders for dispatch using DPD, DX, Royal Mail and pallet networks.• Assisting with stock counts and inventory management.• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe.• Loading and unloading deliveries when required.• Supporting the wider Parts \& Accessories team to ensure customer orders are dispatched on time.• Following all company health and safety procedures.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.• Is reliable, punctual, and organised.• Has excellent attention to detail.• Can work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment.• Is comfortable with manual handling and warehouse duties.• Can work independently and as part of a team.• Has previous warehouse, stores, fulfilment, or logistics experience (preferred but not essential).• Has experience using courier systems or warehouse management systems (advantageous but not essential).• Holds a forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).

Monday to Friday

8:00am – 5:00pm

No weekend working required.

Our Parts \& Accessories Department supplies thousands of container components and accessories to customers across the UK. From lockboxes and vents to doors, flooring, and conversion materials, our team plays a vital role in ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
