JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Warehouse Operative \- Logistics

Reporting To: Logistic Warehouse Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our busy logistics warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This is a hands\-on role in a fast\-paced warehouse environment where teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

• Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists or handheld scanners.


• Pack products securely to ensure safe transportation and delivery.


• Label, sort, and prepare orders for dispatch.


• Receive, unload, and store incoming goods in designated warehouse locations.


• Carry out stock checks and assist with inventory control when required.


• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.


• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily productivity targets.

Experience:

Essential:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or pick\-and\-pack environment is preferred.


• Good attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced setting.


• Strong teamwork and communication skills.


• A positive, dependable, and flexible approach to work.

Desirable (Not Essential):

• A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.


• VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) truck licence or experience operating VNA equipment.

Candidates without FLT or VNA licences are encouraged to apply, as these qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Knowledge:

· PC literacy, MS Outlook, Excel and Word

· Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial
