Warehouse Operative – Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Logistics

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our growing pharmaceutical warehouse team in Kirkby Lonsdale.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a regulated healthcare environment where quality, accuracy, and compliance are essential. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring medicinal products are received, stored, and distributed in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading transport vehicles safely and efficiently


• Checking, verifying, and reconciling incoming goods


• Processing deliveries and completing Goods Received Notes (GRNs)


• Organising stock and maintaining warehouse storage locations


• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch


• Producing dispatch and delivery documentation


• Monitoring and recording temperature data


• Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and organisation


• Supporting warehouse operations to ensure all tasks are completed within required timeframes


• Ensuring medicinal products are stored and distributed in compliance with GDP requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and counting accuracy


• Good verbal and written communication skills


• Strong numerical and IT skills


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team


• Good organisational and logistical reasoning skills


• Reliable, proactive, and able to work to deadlines

• Previous warehouse experience within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or GDP\-regulated environment


• Understanding of warehouse procedures and best practices


• Experience using warehouse management systems and databases


• Knowledge of warehouse KPIs and performance targets


• Experience contributing to process improvements


• Calibration or temperature monitoring experience

• Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence preferred
